What is Innovation?

Innovation, according to Scott Berkun, can be defined as "significant positive change." While invention requires the creation of new ideas, processes or products, innovation goes beyond, requiring implementation of the inventive act. Eco-innovation takes things one step further. It includes the development of products and processes that contribute to sustainable development, applying the commercial application of knowledge to bring about direct or indirect ecological improvements.
This year, Boston GreenFest will bring a Showcase of Innovation to the Plaza which brings new opportunities for our sponsors and our attendees.
